INDICATIONS
Oxytrol (oxybutynin) reduces muscle spasms of the bladder and urinary tract.
Oxytrol is employed to take care of signs and symptoms of overactive bladder, such as frequent or urgent urination, incontinence (urine leakage), and increased nighttime urination.

INSTRUCTIONS
Use Oxytrol exactly as prescribed through your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts and for more than recommended. Follow the directions on your prescription label.

DOSAGE
Adults: The usual dose is 5mg 2 or 3 times every day. This might be increased to a maximum of 5 mg four times each day to obtain a clinical response so long as the inside effects are tolerated.

Get emergency medical help in case you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction to Oxytrol: hives; lack of breath; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using Oxytrol and call a medical expert at the same time in case you have a critical complication like:
fever with hot, dried-out skin;
uneven heart rate;
pain or burning once you urinate;

mild skin itching, burning, redness, or discoloration when a patch was worn;
dizziness, drowsiness, weakness;
dry eyes, blurred vision;
dry mouth;
warmth, tingling, or redness through your skin;
nausea, vomiting, stomach pain;
constipation or diarrhea;
stuffy nose;
back pain;
feeling restless; or
sleep problems (insomnia).

Do not use Oxytrol in case you are allergic to oxybutynin, or for those who have:
untreated or uncontrolled glaucoma;
a blockage within your intestinal tract (stomach or intestines); or
when you have decreased urination or cannot urinate.
To ensure you can safely use Oxytrol, tell your doctor in case you have any of these other conditions:
glaucoma;
liver disease;
kidney disease;
myasthenia gravis;
an enlarged prostate;
an intestinal disorder, for example ulcerative colitis; or
a stomach disorder such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or slow digestion.
FDA pregnancy category B. Oxytrol is not anticipated to be bad for an child. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to get pregnant during treatment. It is just not known whether oxybutynin passes into breast milk or if it might harm a nursing baby. Do not use Oxytrol without telling your doctor in case you are breast-feeding a baby.
Important safety information:

an antibiotic including clarithromycin (Biaxin), dalfopristin/quinupristin (Synercid), erythromycin (E.E.S., EryPed, Ery-Tab, Erythrocin, Pediazole), or telithromycin (Ketek); or
antifungal medicine for example itraconazole (Sporanox), ketoconazole (Extina, Ketozole, Nizoral, Xolegal), miconazole (Oravig), or voriconazole (Vfend).
This list isn't complete and also other drugs may connect to Oxytrol. Tell a medical expert about all medications you utilize. This includes prescription, over-the-counter, vitamin, and herbal products. Do not take up a new medication without telling your doctor.
