Carafate is often a gastric protective. It works by forming a protective layer around the ulcer to serve as being a barrier against acid, bile salts, and enzymes inside the stomach.

STORAGE
Store Carafate at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees (20 and 25 degrees C). Store from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store inside bathroom. Keep Carafate from the reach of youngsters and from pets.
