To minimize dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from your seated or lying position.

Before taking alprazolam, tell a medical expert or pharmacist in the event you are allergic for it; or to other benzodiazepines (like diazepam, lorazepam); or in case you have every other allergies. Before using medicines, tell a medical expert or pharmacist your health background, especially of: severe lung/breathing problems (for example COPD, sleep apnea), liver disease, kidney disease, personal or genealogy and family history of an ingredient use disorder (including overuse of or dependence on drugs/alcohol), glaucoma.
This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy. Alcohol or marijuana can make you more dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything whatsoever that needs alertness before you are able to do it safely. Avoid alcoholic beverages. Talk to your doctor in case you are using marijuana.
Before having surgery, tell a medical expert or dentist about every one of the products you have (including medications, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products).
Older adults may be more understanding of the inside results of this drug, especially lack of coordination and drowsiness. These side effects can increase the risk of falling.
Alprazolam is just not recommended for use in pregnancy as a result of risk of problems for an unborn baby. Consult your doctor for more details.
This drug passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Therefore, breast-feeding while employing this drug is just not recommended. Consult your medical professional before breast-feeding.
