INDICATIONS
Finast prevents the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in your body. DHT is active in the growth and development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
Finast (Propecia) can be used for your treating male pattern hair loss. Finast (Proscar) can be used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in males by having an enlarged prostate.
Finast may also be used for other purposes.
INSTRUCTIONS
Take this medication exactly as prescribed through your doctor. Do not take it in larger amounts or for more than recommended. Follow the directions in your prescription label.
Take this medicine with a full glass of water.
Finast could be taken with or without food. Take the medicine at the same time every day.
To be sure medicines helps your problem instead of causing harmful effects, your blood might need to be tested often. Your doctor will also test your prostate specific antigen (PSA) to check for cancer of prostate.
STORAGE
Store at room temperature faraway from moisture, heat, and light. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
Finast won't be taken by a woman or perhaps a child.To make sure you can safely take finast, educate doctor for those who have any of these other difficulties:
liver disease, or abnormal liver enzyme tests;
cancer of the prostate;
a bladder muscle disorder;
stricture of your respective urethra;
if you cannot urinate; or
in case you have ever had an allergic reaction to a similar medicine called dutasteride (Avodart).
