INDICATIONS
Proscar is utilized for treating urinary problems brought on by an enlarged prostate related (benign prostatic hyperplasia, BPH). It is also used to lower potential risk of needing surgery to take care of BPH. It may be in combination with another medicine (doxazosin) to reduce the risk of worsening BPH. Proscar is a steroid reductase inhibitor. It works by lowering the quantity of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by the body processes. This makes the men's prostate smaller, that helps to alleviate urinary problems.

STORAGE
Store Proscar at room temperature, below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light-weight. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Proscar out of the reach of children and from pets.
