INDICATIONS
Kemadrin is employed for treating Parkinson disease. Procyclidine reduces the effects of certain chemicals within you that may become unbalanced due to disease (such as Parkinson's disease), drug therapy, or other causes.
INSTRUCTIONS
Take procyclidine the same manner directed by your doctor.
Take each dose which has a full glass of water. Take procyclidine after meals to lessen stomach upset.
Procyclidine is usually taken 3 or 4 times per day. Follow a medical expert's instructions.
DOSAGE
Use Kemadrin as directed by your doctor.
If you miss a dose of Kemadrin, go on it as quickly as possible. If it is almost time for your forthcoming dose, skip the missed dose and return to your family dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses immediately.
STORAGE
Store Kemadrin at room temperature far from moisture as well as heat.
Check with your doctor if all of these most COMMON unwanted side effects persist or become bothersome:
Blurred vision; constipation; dilated pupils; dry mouth; giddiness; lightheadedness; lack of appetite; nausea; upset stomach; vomiting.
Seek medical attention straight away if any of these SEVERE negative effects occur:
Severe hypersensitive reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling with the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); chest pain; confusion; difficult or painful urination; difficulty swallowing; eye pain; fast or pounding heartbeat; mental or mood changes; uncontrolled movements.
Do NOT use Kemadrin if:
Some medical ailments may talk with Kemadrin. Tell your doctor or pharmacist when you have any health concerns, particularly if any from the following affect you:
if you might be pregnant, planning to conceive, or are breast-feeding
if you're taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
for those who have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
in case you have glaucoma, mental or mood disorders, muscle weakness (eg, myasthenia gravis), ulcerative colitis, (eg, an enlarged prostate), or urination problems
for those who have a blockage from the stomach, esophagus, or urinary tract; kidney or liver problems; hypertension; heart or circulation system disease; an irregular heartbeat; or uncontrolled movements from the hands, mouth, or tongue.
Kemadrin may cause lightheadedness or blurred vision. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything whatsoever else that may be dangerous and soon you discover how you respond to Kemadrin. Using Kemadrin alone, with certain other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your skill drive an automobile or perform other potentially dangerous tasks.
Kemadrin might cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting. Alcohol, summer, exercise, and fever can increase these effects. To prevent them, crunches or stand slowly, specially in the morning. Also, sit or take a nap on the first manifestation of dizziness, lightheadedness, or weakness.
Do not become overheated in warm weather or during exercise and other activities; heatstroke may occur.
Use Kemadrin with extreme caution in CHILDREN. Safety and effectiveness haven't been confirmed.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you get pregnant while taking Kemadrin, discuss along with your doctor the advantages and perils associated with using Kemadrin when pregnant. It is unknown if Kemadrin is excreted in breast milk. If you might be or will be breast-feeding while you are using Kemadrin, check together with your doctor or pharmacist to talk about the potential for loss for your baby.
