INDICATIONS
Femara is used for primarily treating certain kinds of breast cancer in females past menopause. Femara is an aromatase inhibitor. It works by lowering the total level of estrogen produced primarily in your body. This helps to starve cancer cells by depriving them of estrogen.
INSTRUCTIONS
Use Femara as directed by your doctor.

STORAGE
Store Femara at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Brief storage at temperatures between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. Store away from heat, moisture, and light-weight. Do not store inside the bathroom. Keep Femara out of the reach of kids and far from pets.

Back, leg, or arm pain; breast pain; constipation; cough; diarrhea; dizziness; headache; hot flashes; flushing; increased sweating; indigestion; joint or muscle pain; lack of appetite; mild swelling or fluid retention; nausea; night sweats; sleeplessness; stomach pain; tiredness; vaginal dryness or irritation; vomiting; weakness; putting on weight or loss.
Seek medical assistance without delay if these severe unwanted side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling in the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; unusual hoarseness); calf pain or tenderness; chest pain; confusion; fever, chills, or sore throat; increased or painful urination; numbness of an arm or leg; one-sided weakness; severe or persistent bone pain; severe stomach pain; shortness of breath; sudden severe headache, vomiting, dizziness, or fainting; swelling from the ankles or feet; unexplained vaginal bleeding or discharge; vision or speech changes.
